An year ago, when I went with my friend to a nearby electric shop, I saw a new packet in the cupboard of the shop with the picture of LED bulbs on it.I was looking for it for the two and a half years. So naturally I purchased it after adequate test at the shop. The brochure in the packet narrated me that eight hours of continuous charging is needed. It should be charged at a stretch for eight hours.Do not break the charging time. This can be done either by AC or DC supply. We can use this once charged bulb for three months without recharging. Put it in the common bulb holder as to face the bulb as parallel to the room floor. Thus we are now ready to use the new generation lighting system. This bulb needs only 4watts of AC/DC power.A common type of a room needs just two bulbs to get adequate light in all parts of the room.In India, this bulb can be purchased at a price of Rs150/- (Less than 3 US Dollars). If our house have six rooms, we need only 12 bulbs and 48watts/1000 hours for a three months.
In the Indian context cost of total 12 bulbs will be 12 * 150 = Rs1800/-(ie: 40 US$). The power consumption will be very very low, ie12*6*4*90/1000 =26Watts. That means we can get adequate light for the next three months with the silly expense of 26watts of energy. In addition to it, you can install solar power panel to give energy. then it will completely turn as a "Green Power System" which is not harming the globe and the enviornment.
